President Obama Speaks to Students

September 9, 2009 | Education

Has there ever been such a fuss over the President of the United States speaking to students? Some schools are requesting that parents who want their kids to watch the speech return a signed permission form stating that it is indeed acceptable that their child be present for the viewing.

We thought permission forms went out with sex education films. Do they still do those? At the rate kids are sexting, I don’t think they really need the films anymore.

Read the speech for yourself.  Try to find something so disturbing that it requires a permission form.
